New Year, New Horse

Happy New Year and welcome to 2015. With a new year comes a new blog topic.

Late in 2014, I was given a lovely horse, “U” and he will be the topic for the most part for the blog for this year. He is what we call in clicker training a cross-over horse, as he was trained with negative reinforcement and is now coming to the world of positive reinforcement, a world without escalating pressure or fear of doing something wrong. This is a huge change for him and it will be, I’m sure, fascinating to watch how he changes.

I hope you will follow his journey into the world of clicker training and please do not be afraid to ask questions. The official story will start in the next blog so stay tuned!
